The Egyptians

This half term we have been learning all about the Egyptians.

We have learnt lots about Ancient Egypt and the Egyptian way of life.

We learnt the stages of mummification, how to make an Egyptian death mask and in groups we even made some fantastic pyramids.

The Egyptians Museum Trip

To start our topic on Ancient Egypt, all of Year 3 visited the Derby Museum at the end of last term. We all had a brilliant day out. The children got to see some real mummies, learnt the stages to mummification and got to create their very own sarcophagus out of clay!

Little Frankie's Gold Treat! 

14 pupils from 3F went with Miss Foster and Mrs Asghar to Little Frankie's for their Gold behaviour treat. They had a great time making and eating a whole pizza each! They all looked very professional in their chef aprons and hats.

Well done to all the children who received the Gold award this half term! 

Meet the new 3F!

This half term we have been learning all about The Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age in History. In Science we have been learning all about plants. 

After half term we will be learning about natural disasters in Geography and Experiments in Science. 

Don't forget....

3F need to bring their P.E. kit every Tuesday and Wednesday. If you forget it, you may not get Gold!

Homework is due in every Thursday.
